Making emotes is easy. Follow the steps given below to get your emote ready:
1. Upload the picture you want emote to be.
2. Change the dimensions. Emotes are made using specific dimensions, So, you have to adjust the picture in those dimensions.
3. Save, Publish and Download.
Upload a picture of 28 x 28, 56 x 56 or 112 x 112. The image should be in PNG format with transparent background and file size of 25KB.
Steps to Follow:
Follow the steps given below to upload the picture:
1. Open Kapwing Studio.
2. Click on Upload Picture.
3. Choose the picture to Upload and select upload.
4. Now, the Image will appear on your screen. If you wish to remove the background to white, you can choose a Magic wand to remove the background.
Twitch has different sizes for both the badge and banner. If you wish to simply create a Twitch emote then keep dimensions as 112x 112. 56x 56, 28x 28. And for Twitch subscriber badges, use dimensions 72x 72, 36x 36, and 18x 18.
Follow the steps given below to change the dimensions:
1. On the right-hand side, click to crop and resize.
2. Choose the dimensions as stated and click Apply.
Your image will change to the desired dimensions.
Once you are done with the above two steps now click on Publish and Upload. Your Emote is now ready to use.
You can directly upload emote to Twitch, or save it on your PC for further use.
Twitch emotes are dependent on dimensions. Adjust the dimensions and resolutions of the image while designing your emote and you are good to go.
