Step 1: First of all, Connect your TV with your Chromecast by plugging the switch of your Chromecast device into the wall outlet.

Android- Almost all Android devices are compatible with Disney Plus Chromecast. After opening the Disney + app, there is a Chromecast icon in the top right of the tab. Taping on the cast icon opens a pop-up window with a list of peripherals that can host Disney Plus, such as a TV or desktop.
iPhone-Chromecast can run on a variety of platforms such as the iPhone. Like on Android devices, the Chromecast icon is displayed in the upper right corner of Disney+. Click the icon to display a list of removable devices. Choose your device and enjoy Disney+ wherever you go.
Web- If you own a laptop or desktop computer, you can easily use the Disney Plus Chromecast over the Internet. This way, install the Google Chrome browser and log in to Disney Plus. Tap on your favorite movie and hit the top right Chromecast icon. Then choose the device you want to mirror and watch the Disney + shows you want. You can also click on the three dots in the upper right corner and choose cast from the drop-down list and you will land on the newly opened window, here select a device.
If you’re running the service from your mobile device to a smart TV via Chromecast and you’re having problems, you can give it a try the below fixes:
- Go to the home screen> Go to Settings> Then select Apps> Now Choose Built-in Chromecast> Select Clear Cache and Clear Data> At last, press and hold the green button on the remote for at least 5 seconds to reboot the TV. The screen turns black. You can release the button at this point. It’s done!
- If you are facing any errors, download the latest version of the Disney Plus app on your mobile device. There may be an error with the old version of the application.
- Another big error is that Disney + Chromecast doesn’t make any sound. Reasons for this situation include the device and Disney being unable to update the software to the latest version, or the Disney plus Android app not working as expected. The solution is to delete the unnecessary cache and reinstall the device or software on the TV. But to use Disney + Chromecast effectively, you need to upgrade your device and service at the same time.
- Users can quickly fix any issues with the external Chromecast device by simply resetting their device.
- If you can’t use Disney+ on the Chromecast, maybe your firmware version is out of date. Your TV brands did not cast Disney+ due to the previous firmware version. If you get this error, try updating your device’s firmware using the steps below.
Step 1: Open your smartphone’s Google Home app. If this application is not already installed on your device, install it now. Google Home gives you full control over your Chromecast device.
Step 2: Now go to the apps menu> Launch and run Google Home app.
Step 3: Now select your Chromecast device that is connected.
Step 4: Go to the upper right corner of the screen and click Settings.
Step 5: Scroll down the page to see the current firmware version of your device with the latest version. If the version has not been updated, you will be prompted to update manually.
